Silverfish Control Sydney

Silverfish are a primitive small, soft insect that derives its name its silvery-grey colour. They prefer dark, warm, undisturbed spaces such as roof spaces, storage rooms, bookcases and wall cavities. While they mainly feed on flour, oats and meats, they will feed on anything – from synthetic silk fabrics to paper to other silverfish.

They are also often found in sinks, bathtubs and toilets after falling in whilst seeking moisture.

To prevent silverfish infestation, ensure regular cleaning and shifting of items that are in otherwise undisturbed areas, as well as keeping toilet lids closed, fixing dripping taps and keeping food preparation areas clean at all times.
